High speed chase ends in arrest of Union Gap man
YAKIMA, Wash.-- Police were led on a high speed chase just before 11:00 P.M., last night.
A 29-year-old Union Gap man was spotted by the Yakima Police Department driving recklessly on Yakima Avenue.
He was in a white Ford Explorer.
Police deployed spike strips on the Nob Hill overpass over I-82, and the man was arrested on the corner of S.18th St. and E. Nob Hill Blvd..
He was booked into Yakima County Jail for eluding police, hit-and-run, DUI, driving on a suspended license, and other charges from a prior incident.
