Heritage University awarded $6.3 million dollars to fund student scholarships
TOPPENISH, Wash.-- Millions of dollars is being given to a local university for student scholarships.
The Moccasin Lake Foundation of Seattle awarded Heritage University $6.3 million dollars to fund education.
This is the biggest gift given to Heritage in their 35 years.
This will allow the university to provide full rides to 20 students per year.
It'll cover the cost of tuition, books, and room and board for students pursuing a bachelor's degree for up to four years.
All current Heritage University students and those thinking about attending Heritage, are encouraged to apply.
The application deadline is February 16, 2018.
