Guilty: Child rapist to be sentenced in December
YAKIMA, Wash. -- A paralegal will stay in jail for raping children and giving them meth.
Travis Padgett is guilty of 13 charges. He was only found not-guilty of one count he was facing.
Police arrested Padgett in January after one of the victims reported the rape to a school resource officer.
"The three children stood up and they were strong and they finally beat him when no one else could. They told the truth and they exposed him for the true person that he was," a relative of the victim said.
Sentencing is scheduled for early December.
