Granger police chief expected to enter plea deal in stalking case
YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- Yakima County prosecutors said Granger Police Chief Robert Perales is now expected to plead guilty to lesser charges in his stalking case next week.
Perales has been charged with felony stalking and perjury after authorities said he stalked his ex-girlfriend and then lied about it.
His trial was initially scheduled for last November.
Prosecutors said Perales is expected to enter a plea deal for false swearing.
