Grandview school district hosts workshop for migrant families
GRANDVIEW, Wash.- Agriculture is king in the lower valley. So, the Grandview school district hosted a migrant family workshop to help the community.
There were workshops for health, suicide prevention and ways to help your child's education at home.
Luz Prieto with the district said they do this every year to let parents know what kind of help they can get.
“This is a key time for us to get them informed about the health resources that exist in the area and also the summer programs that their children may benefit from in the next few months,” she said.
For those that were unable to attend, you can head over to the Grandview school district website for a list of resources.
