General election will decide three Yakima city council seats
YAKIMA, Wash. - City leaders want to remind those living in Yakima County of the upcoming General Election.
Yakima county election officials will mail ballots out to registered voters by Friday, October 20 for the November 7 election.
Ballots that are postmarked before midnight on Nov. 7 will be considered valid for this general election, according to a press release from the city.
Ballots items include three Yakima City Council seats in the Districts of 2, 4 and 6.
Marijuana production, processing and sales in unincorporated areas will be an advisory item on the ballot, according to city leaders.
