      Former Union Gap mayor booked on suspicion of DUI

      YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- Union Gap's former mayor was booked into the Yakima County Jail Wednesday morning.

      Authorities arrested Jim Lemon on a traffic offense, according to police.

      It happened in the area of 5th Street and Valley Mall Boulevard in Union Gap.

      Lemon is being held on suspicion of DUI and obstructing a law enforcement officer, according to the Yakima County Jail roster.
