Firefighters put out storage fire within minutes
YAKIMA Wa. -- Fire crews were faced with a blazing storage just hours ago, and put out the fire within five minutes.
Crews were alerted of a fire that started south fourth street in Yakima.
They arrived at the scene around 2 p.m. and found the fire started inside one a storage building.
Fire crews attacked the fire from two different locations and within minutes they had the fire contained.
"The thing about this fire that was particularly dangerous is that it was edged right into two homes. this is a storage shed and it's currently under investigation as to what caused the fire,” said Yakima Fire Department’s Shift Commander Mitch Cole.
Fire crews say some valuables inside the storage were caught on fire.
It's not determined yet the total cost of damages.
No one was injured.
