Firefighters extinguished the fire in roughly 30 minutes, according to reports. The truck tractor was a total loss while the trailer sustained heat and smoke damage to the A/C unit and front of the trailer.

Reports said fire crews attacked the flames in a manner to avoid contact from potential fuel or pressurized tanks bursting.

Officials said no one was injured as a result of this fire.

The driver of the truck is from Witchita, KS and said he was returning home Friday, according to fire officials.

The driver said he was getting ready to leave, smelled something inside the truck like burnt plastic and got out with his rider. The truck was in flames shortly after they left.

Officials estimate the value of damage is estimated at $125,000.

Firefighters do not know what caused this fire and are currently investigating.
