Exchange students showcase Japanese culture in Yakima

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Eighty exchange students from Yokohama, Japan introduced the Yakima community to their culture Wednesday night. It was all part of a cultural show at Eisenhower High School.

The students set up different games and educational booths for people to learn from while having fun. Then, a performance by the students started.

"We're showing our country, culture, and we promise a show," said student Momoka Yamaguchi.

In the show, they sang, acted in a short play and demonstrated Japanese martial arts.

The students are on a two-week trip. They will leave Ike on Friday.
