Ellensburg recognizes good customer service in local businesses
ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The City of Ellensburg is launching an initiative that recognizes businesses that exemplify good customer service.
Various Ellensburg Organizations and Central Washington University (CWU) are partnering in this program known as Community Star Program or B2C Stars, according to an October 11 press release from the university.
“We want to call out the local ‘rock star’ businesses who are doing a great job of serving the community and recognize them for their efforts,” CWU’s chief of staff Linda Schactler said in a statement.
Leaders said this program is based on standards created by the National Customer Service Association.
Businesses wishing to participate will be reviewed in areas including: respect, honesty, trust and integrity.
