Ellensburg Police Department (EPD) has been working with city attorneys in case a city code violation has occurred from multiple incidents similar to this.

EDP believes the individual that left the flyers was also responsible for a similar incident involving Ku Klux Klan (KKK) flyers on January 14, 2017.

Investigations have determined the anonymous suspect as a Kittitas County resident.

Authorities said misdemeanor charges relating to unlawful handbill distribution were recommended through attorneys.
