Drug Task Force finds nearly 5K pounds of marijuana in Moxee home
MOXEE, Wash. - Law enforcement have identified a Moxee man who had nearly 5,000 pounds of illegal marijuana.
The Law Enforcement Against Drugs (LEAD) Task Force arrested Albaro Amezcua-Espinoza for growing marijuana. Amezcua admitted he did not have a medical permit to detectives.
Detectives discovered 26 40-gallon garbage bags of pot in a bedroom at Amezcua's home. 14 zip lock bags filled with pot were also found. The LEAD Task Force learned the grow location Amezcua was using was not a secured medical facility.
Two other people involved in the illegal operation were also charged with marijuana possession.
