Driver, passenger surrender after 110 mph chase

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- A 50-mile police chase in eastern Washington came to an end in the Lower Valley.

The driver and a passenger are now behind bars after surrendering.

Troopers say it started Thursday morning in Goldendale.

The suspicious car took off on Highway 97 at speeds reaching 110 miles an hour.

Spike strips slowed the car near Toppenish.

The driver and passenger eventually turned themselves in at the Yakama Nation Tribal Jail.

Nobody was hurt.
