Driver injured after falling asleep on SR 97
YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. - A Fife man is injured after the Washington State Patrol says he fell asleep at the wheel and crashed his car off State Route 97.
Robert Wilson, 40, was heading north, driving a 2014 BMW 535 just after midnight, Monday when he fell asleep and drove off road, 24 miles south of Toppenish. Troopers said his car then rolled and crashed, totaling the car.
