Trained experts from the Yakima Neighborhood Health Services and community partners were there to help. They answered questions about new health care plans and signed local residents up for coverage. People KIMA spoke to said it was beneficial getting help in person.
"I've gone on the Internet numerous times trying to decipher what each insurance company was offering and it was just too overwhelming for me," said Jacquelyne Bise.
Nearly 40 appointments have been made with the Yakima Neighborhood Health Services after the event.
