      Crews restore damaged Yakima Ave. traffic signal

      YAKIMA, Wash. -- Crews installed a temporary traffic signal after a garbage truck hit it Wednesday.

      The truck hit the 17th Street signal at Yakima Avenue which caused delays for hours as workers put in a temporary signal.

      Officials said the driver didn't lower the garbage bin when going through the intersection.

      Nobody was hurt.
