County offers help to those forced out of Yakima apartments

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima County is lending a hand to tenants forced to leave the Cascade and Senator Apartments by the end of the week.

An assessment center will open Wednesday to help you find other housing options. Current tenants can go the center from noon to 5:00 p.m.

It's in Yakima County's conference center at 1st Street and Lincoln Avenue.

Safety code violations prompted the city to shut down the buildings.
