The facility was a $6-million project. The new building will hold nursing, Microsoft IT/Office certification and welding students. Classes in the new facility will start this summer.
A teacher said she's excited for the change.
"We're not as class-crowded as we were before," said Barbara Dawson. "Before we were in a small area, and I couldn't get all my students in the lab room at the same time."
The 12,000-square-foot building is expected to hold 120 students. A grand opening is scheduled for the end of next month.
