Cashier knocked down during robbery

YAKIMA POLICE NEWS RELEASE -- On 1/3/14 at approximately 1820 hrs., a Yakima Police Officer responded to the business Reyna's Joyeria in the 1100 block of W. Lincoln to a 911 call for help. On arrival, they located the store's employee who reported she was robbed at gunpoint.

The victim employee was confronted by three Hispanic males wearing dark clothing and each armed with black handguns. They shoved the employee to the floor and started breaking display cases and took numerous pieces of jewelry. In addition, the suspects stole money out of the register and the amount is unknown at this release.

The employee who is in her 50's was sore but did not sustain serious injury. No shots were fired.
