Boy arrested in connection with power outage

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- A 17-year-old boy is under arrest in connection with a Thursday night power outage in Terrace Heights. Yakima County deputies say he was driving a car that crashed into a power pole.

It happened just after 10 p.m. in the 600 block of Butterfield Road.

The car took off before deputies got there, but they spotted tire tracks that took them to a nearby home.

Two people tried to run away, but deputies caught the suspect.

Power was restored early Friday morning.
