Casares is charged with Aggravated 1st degree murder in the first homicide in Sunnyside in three years. The shooting happened on May 9 at an apartment complex on the 1400 block of South Sixth street.
The 21-year-old was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshal's office in Snohomish, WA. Authorities say Casares was found with two firearms.
