'Above and Beyond' receives large donation

YAKIMA, Wash. -- A non-profit is benefiting from a large donation. Prestige Motors handed over a check for $5,000 to 'Above and Beyond.'

The money will be distributed to other charities like Yakima Valley Women's Center, Northwest Harvest, Salvation Army and Life Savers anti-teen suicide program.

"Prestige Motors donates to charities all year long," said Luis Garcia, secretary for 'Above and Beyond.' "They do it not because they have to, but because they want to and I really would like for other people to step up and do that more often. Especially this time of year where people need it the most."

This is the largest one-time donation from Prestige Motors.
