On February 21st, Michael A. Barajas, age 21 was arrested in Othello, WA by the U.S. Marshals Service PNVOTF Task Force. Barajas was wanted on a homicide warrant out of Kittitas County, WA. The allegation was that Barajas stabbed the victim multiple times in a gang-related incident on the Central Washington University Campus located in Ellensburg, WA. The PNVOTF was assisted by the Regional Tactical Response Team in making the arrest.
On February 21st the USMS PNVOTF arrested Nichole Star Coggins in Yakima, WA. Coggins was wanted by the Bellingham Police Department for 2nd Degree Murder. The murder allegation stems from an incident where Coggins and a co-defendant drugged a man in order to steal his ATM card. The victim later died from the drug overdose.
On February 22nd the USMS PNVOTF with assistance from the Post Falls, ID Swat Team and the Homeland Security Office of Air and Marine, arrested Christopher W. Olsen, age 32. Olsen was arrested in Post Falls, ID on a homicide warrant out of Pierce County, Washington. The warrant stemmed from allegations that Olsen and another man set the victim up to be assaulted for allegedly stealing a car. The victim was found shot in the head in the driver seat of the allegedly stolen vehicle.
