16-year-old faces charges after police say he drove car in drive-by shooting
YAKIMA, Wash.--A 16-year-old from Yakima faces charges after police say he drove a car involved in a drive-by shooting.
Authorities say Jesus Sanchez Hernandez was the driver during a shooting on May 2.
Police say they responded to shots fired in the 400 block of South Fourth Street that night.
No one was injured.
Court papers say Sanchez led police on a chase before being arrested at a playground.
Court papers also say Sanchez admitted to police he's an active gang member.
Sanchez's bail was set at $50,000.
