Judge throws out the DJ's case in Taylor Swift groping trial
WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) - The judge presiding over the Taylor Swift groping trial has thrown out the DJ's claim.
Swift's lawyers made arguments that DJ David Mueller had failed to prove that the pop star got him fired from his job.
Meuller denied groping Swift during a meet and greet with fans during a 2013 concert. Meuller than sued Swift, her mother and radio liaison for $3 million.
Taylor Swift countersued for $1 judgment in her favor and alleging assault.
The jury will resume Monday.
