Police looking for Union Gap store-goers using fake $100 bills
UNION GAP, Wash. - Police are searching for people who have been using counterfeit bills at stores in Union Gap.
The Union Gap Police Department (UGPD) police said numerous fake $100 bills have been passed recently at various stores throughout the area.
Cabela's obtained photos of suspects, the bills that were used at the store and the suspect vehicle in the store parking lot according to reports.
The counterfeit bills have the same two serial numbers as seen in the photo provided by Cabela's staff, UGPD police said.
Officers said the bills look so realistic that they passed the counterfeit banknote detection pen at some stores.
Anyone with information regarding the pictured suspects is asked to contact UGPD at 509-248-0430.
